- 1 / 5By craig carrilloI want to start by saying that my family and I moved here from Florida where we ocasionally ate at Captain D's and I'm sorry to say, we were really let down. All the fried food (fish, shrimp, hushpuppies, stuffed crab) tasted the same, like old fryer oil. The macaroni and cheese was old, cold and hard. It should never have been served. The green beans were bland and soggy, unlike the Captain D's in FL which had onion and salt pork. Also, the fried shrimp seems to be more fried batter than shrimp which makes me feel like I wasted my money. The staff was nice and the tables/floors were clean, but we wont be returning.September 19, 2016
